The use of diverse art materials for painting, drawing, collage, sculpting etc. are aimed to facilitate reflection, self-awareness and healing.
Research has shown that art therapy can be beneficial for older people in residential aged care, specially for those living with dementia. It provides sensory stimulation, validates personal identity through art, facilitate non-verbal expression and provide meaningful engagement through the creative process.
This is for 60 minute individual session
