Professor of Nursing and Director of Health Innovations, University of Wollongong
Professor Caleb Ferguson is an NHMRC Fellow and Director of Health Innovations at the University of Wollongong. He also holds an appointment as Professor of Nursing (Chronic & Complex Care) at Western Sydney Local Health District, where he leads a program of research in cardiovascular disease, and technology supported self-management. He is a Registered Nurse with nearly 20 years experience working across stroke, neuroscience, and cardiovascular care. His current program of research focuses on CVD and frailty. He has published over 145 academic publications.
Professor Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Stirling, Scotland), Master of Health Leadership (Tasmania, Australia) and a PhD (UTS, Australia), and an elected Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing.
