Tiffany graduated with a PhD in cell biology from UNSW and then moved into dementia care research 8 years ago with the Dementia Centre for Research Collaboration (DCRC). Tiffany’s main research focus is on improving care for people experiencing changed behaviours and psychological symptoms associated with dementia including reducing the inappropriate use of psychotropic medicines. This work at the DCRC introduced her to co-authour Professor Carmelle Peisah, President of Capacity Australia, a human rights charity providing education and advocacy for vulnerable groups. Tiffany currently has roles managing both the DCRC and Capacity Australia and continues to pursue her research interests.
