The staff at HelloCare wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It’s been a big year for the aged care sector and HelloCare worked hard to cover the biggest and most heartfelt stories that mattered in 2022.

HelloCare reported on the most important and relevant news for our readers, including huge reform changes for the sector that will impact aged care workers and older Australians – for better or for worse.

The aged care sector experienced a lot of breaking news this year, such as a pay rise for the workforce, a change of Government, and historic aged care bills passing Parliament.

2022 put a spotlight on the ongoing challenges aged care workers and older people face, and now, 2023 is set to deliver transformative change for all who work in, and access, aged care in Australia.

HelloCare looks forward to continuing to inform and report on the important things that matter to aged care workers and older people in the new year.

Our office will be closed from 23 December 2022 until Tuesday 3 January 2023. News coverage will begin from 9 January, 2023.

Over the Christmas break we will bring you the best news of the year in our Top News Stories Of The Year newsletter and our Editor’s Pick newsletter.

The first newsletter of 2023 will be distributed to subscribers on Tuesday, 11 January. To ensure you receive weekly aged care news in your inbox in 2023, subscribe on our website.

From all of us at HelloCare, we wish our readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
